Philipp Rouschal - Vice President Outgoing Exchange

As a son of Graz, Philipp spent most of his life in the capital of Styria. Finding there an open minded and diverse environment he developed a multitude of interests. Already in school this lead to various extraordinary activities. It was clear from the beginning that he would later go to university, although his field of studies was yet to decide. In the end he chose Technical Mathematics, which gave him the possibility to improve his abstract thinking.

Always fascinated by different cultures, he was thinking about studying some semesters abroad. At an exchange info fair, where he was looking for opportunities to prepare for the time abroad, he got to know AIESEC. He joined the Outgoing Exchange team and that's where he got an insight into the many possibilities AIESEC offers.

Not willing to resist the call of the new he satisfied his longing for new experiences and set off with AIESEC to one real exotic country – to Tajikistan. Still abroad, in the for many unknown country, he took the decision to apply for the position of Vice President for Outgoing Exchange. After a long trip home and not even a day back he got confidence of the members at the elections.

Having now this position he can enable those looking for such a unique time to get their personal exchange experience. He is already looking forward to seeing others taking their first step into a world of unlimited possibilities and follow theirs as well as his own growth.
