AIESEC Graz ist eine von Organisation von Studierenden für Studierende. Sie besteht aus mehreren Teams, die in sechs Bereichen auf lokalem Level operieren. Hier findest du eine kurze Einführung über die Teams, die es zur Zeit gibt:
Finance and Law (F & Law)
The financial system is strongly embedded in the organization as a regulatory body that is responsible not only for controlling in financial means, but consciously providing the financial frame for the plans and strategies of the organization. The Finance team has to be in very close, complete and prosperous cooperation with every other team, in order to enable to execute the organizational strategies and plans as well as to support improvement and sustainable progress. After being in the Finance team, you will also have the knowledge about auditing.
This team is also responsible for aligning the contracts of AIESEC Graz with the Austrian law and making sure that all our operations are legal.
External Relations (ER)
The members of this area get in contact with companies and raise partnerships with them. This team is responsible to sell internships in Graz and, in addition to this, to win companies as learning partners or sponsors of the organization. ER works together with every functional area and project to see what is needed, what we can offer to companies and what the Local Committee can get out of it. Through trainings, the team provides AIESECers the knowledge about calling and company meetings.
Talent Management (TM)
The role of the TM team is to guarantee, that all the processes in the organization are happening smoothly, contributing to the recruitment, development and retention of the people identified as talents. Moreover, the team is responsible for the learning, personal and professional development of all members in the Local Committee. The goal is also to promote national and international conferences and support all members to attend them. People in this team develop an understanding for Human Resource Management (training development, organizational behavior) and gain coaching and communication skills.
Communication (COM)
The Communication team is split into internal and external communication. The main focus is increasing the popularity of AIESEC among students and companies as well as in our society. Thus, building up cooperations with different media partners as well as a proper branding and communication of AIESEC are essential. To achieve this, the team is responsible for designing posters, flyers and the Annual Report as well as working on our homepage. The goal is not only to be present outside of AIESEC, but also to inform our members about important events and issues in our Local Committee through tools like newsletters, mailing lists and Wiki
Outgoing Exchange (OGX)
The OGX team is responsible for selecting, preparing and re-integrating members who want to do an internship through AIESEC. For this, the team members give trainings about matching, promote Exchange in the Local Committee and also have personal talks with people who are interested in going abroad. The team supports Exchange Participants in the process of searching an internship as well as visa and other official issues.
Incoming Exchange (ICX)
ICX is about caring for people coming to Graz for internships. In order to guarantee them a great experience here, the team is also responsible for supporting the interns within the visa process and other official issues. In addition, the team works closely together with the ER team and supports them in company meetings with their knowledge.
Projects
The projects we run in our Local Committee are drivers for the positive impact we want to create in our society. Furthermore every project team and its leaders are provided with trainings, ongoing coaching and the right learning environment in order to develop effective leaders and to provide our stakeholders through our projects with the best service possible.
Global Village
In diesem Event präsentieren sich internationale Studierende mit Kulinarik und Musik dem Grazer Publikum. Die messeähnliche Veranstaltung wird von einem reichhaltigen Rahmenprogramm untermalt und wird auch nächstes Jahr wieder für einen gelungenen internationalen Nachmittag/Abend sorgen.
Das nächste Global Village findet am 28. März 2012 statt.
Das Global Village Team ist für die gesamte Vorbereitung (u.a. internationale Studierende in Graz kontaktieren, die ihr Heimatland präsentieren wollen, Räumlichkeiten finden, Logistik, Promotion, etc.) und den Ablauf der Veranstaltung verantwortlich.
Career Days
Die Career Days sind ein Karriereevent der etwas anderen Art. Studierende bekommen hier die Möglichkeit, direkt mit ihren potenziellen zukünftigen Arbeitgebern zu interagieren sowie Informationen und Tipps zu Bewerbung und ähnlichem einzuholen. Die Veranstaltung basiert in erster Linie auf Interaktion und das Ziel ist es, Studierende direkt in Verbindung mit Unternehmen zu bringen (mit Workshops, Case Studies, etc.)
Die nächsten Career Days finden am 14., 15. und 16. Mai statt.
Das Career Days Team findet im Vorfeld Organisationen und Unternehmen, die bei dem Event teilnehmen wollen und organisiert und promotet das Event unter Studierenden in Graz.
School Project
Four interns from Venezuela, Nigeria, Greece and Vietnam are holding 2-3 days workshops in Styrian schools about their country. The goal is also to improve the intercultural communication within high school students and raise the awareness about the topic.
The School project team is feedbacking the workshop content and supporting the interns in the design of the materials needed. The team is fixing the dates for the workshops and is going to the schools together with the interns.
NGO project
The goal of this project is to support local NGOs by providing them qualified interns from abroad.
The NGO project team is responsible for getting in contact with the NGOs, searching for suitable interns and supporting them before and during their stay.
TRICCS
Students from Graz get a train the trainer education, additionally an intercultural training and the necessary skills for business life. After that, they go on an 6-8 weeks internship in February/March 2011, where they can practise the acquired theoretical skills.
The TRICCS project team is responsible for finding interested people, who want to join this program, and to support them before, during and after their internship.
Conferences
AIESEC Graz is organizing three conferences in 2011:
The organizing teams for both conferences are responsible for finding sponsors/partners (in order to make it financially sustainable) promoting the conference in AIESEC Austria and offering the necessary logistical support at the conference site itself.
