Vlad Buchynskyy - Vice President Talent Management
Vlad originally comes from Odessa, Ukraine but since 2007 he lives and studies geosciences in Graz. Although he has always been passionate about his studies, he joined AIESEC Graz in October 2010 to gain some working experience that the curriculum doesn’t offer.
After getting a little more into what AIESEC actually does, there have been many ideas on how to improve the area of which he was part of - Talent Management. He led the following recruitment and it was a big success. The talents recruited in March 2011 have already taken several leadership positions and others are prepared for going on an internship during the summer. His further goals include coaching of the new members, goal setting and preparation for their leadership roles.
Social Events have become more and more interesting for the members to organize. On average there are 1-2 events per month organized and promoted by AIESEC, where non-members are very welcome as well. Vlad and his team cooperate with partners like Soundportal, the Karl-Franzens and the Technical University of Graz.
In order to insure proper organization of events and handling the HR processes, Talent Management consists of four teams including talent management, event management, recruitment and the trainers’ team.
To sum it up, Vlad has a good insight into human resources’ processes; his teams ensure the realization of these processes, keep the superb morale in the local committee and foster members’ development.
