Internship FAQ

Hard facts and frequently asked questions about our internships offered in Graz:

How long can you go on an internship?

Between 6 weeks and 18 months

From which working background are these internships that you offer at the moment?

Development and educational internships

And where?

It is very likely that you get an internship in the following countries/regions as there are a lot of open opportunities: South-East Asia, Southern America, Eastern Europe and certain African countries like Kenya. If you want to go somewhere else, it might be also possible, depending on where you want to go and what you want to do there, but it's not guaranteed.

What about costs?

Membership in AIESEC Graz itself is free of charge, if you want to go on an internship though, you have to pay 99€ servicing fee. For this you will recieve help from us to prepare yourself for going abroad as well as help for finding accommodation, getting your visa etc.

What do I get paid?

As development and educational internships are often hosted by another NGO in your preferred country, who usually are on a tight budget, they are mostly not paid or you just get pocket money. However you will  always at least get food and accomodation provided for the duration of your internship.

Sounds great so far, when can I go?

Any time of the year. It's recommended to approach us about 4 months in advance before your desired start time to be able to handle all the tasks like cultural preparation and getting your visa (if needed).
